I would not want to live here. Maybe I would stay here, but only if there were at least six other people present. Scotland is gorgeous, I know, but isolated cottage = psychotic-killer-bait to a city girl like me. Plus, what happens if you want a pack of M&Ms or something?

That said, the classy Scots behind Papa Stour have done a lovely job fixing this place up, with a great mix of woods — painted white and stained dark. Just move it into an adorable village, and we'll talk.
